Together on the 111th Anniversary of World Migrants and Refugees Day
23 October 2025

On the occasion of the 111th Anniversary of World Migrants and Refugees Day, we spent a special day meeting and sharing warm moments with our friends. This activity was more than just a simple gathering; it was an opportunity to create new connections, strengthen existing friendships, and share sincere and joyful conversations.
During the activity, we enjoyed coffee and delicious treats, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even though not everyone can speak Albanian or English, we all try to combine words with each other’s native languages, striving to understand one another as best as possible and to foster open and heartfelt communication. This small but meaningful approach shows respect for the diverse cultures and histories that each person brings to the community.
Every moment spent together was an important reminder of the significance of acceptance, respect, and mutual support. Gatherings like these allow us to build bridges of understanding and solidarity, strengthening connections within the community and creating spaces where everyone feels accepted and valued.
Beyond the social aspect, activities like this remind us that each of us has a role in creating a more united and supportive environment. A simple conversation, a smile, or a small act of kindness can make a difference in someone else’s life. By supporting and listening to one another, our communities become stronger and more resilient.
This anniversary is not just a date on the calendar; it is a call to reflect on the importance of diversity, solidarity, and mutual respect. It reminds us that unity and support for one another are the foundation of any sustainable and welcoming society.
