Spring in Albanian class: A new group begins their lessons

23 October 2025

This month, in the welcoming space of our partner school, a new chapter has begun for a group of new participants who have arrived from the Middle East. They have started the Albanian language course – a step that, for them, represents not just learning a new language, but a sincere effort to build stronger connections with everyday life, the community, and the people around them.

The course takes place three times a week, with two academic hours per session. Already in the first week, we’ve been glad to see how easily and enthusiastically the participants have settled in. They have felt at ease not only with the course structure and teaching approach, but also with the warm atmosphere of the school and the teacher, who has quickly become a cherished presence for them.

The participants have shown great motivation to learn. For them, the Albanian language is more than just a communication tool. It’s an opportunity to build new bridges in their daily reality. It helps them express themselves more freely, better understand the life they are living here, and share more of themselves with others.

Like many of our daily activities, this course is grounded in values of inclusion, respect, and human connection. It is a space where everyone feels safe, heard, and welcomed. The lessons are designed not only to support language learning, but also to encourage interaction and relationship-building among participants and the broader community.

Our team, in close collaboration with the teacher and host school, remains committed to supporting participants throughout this journey. That support doesn’t end when the lesson does – it’s ongoing, attentive, and responsive to any needs or challenges that may arise along the way.

The beginning of this course marks more than just a step toward learning – it is the start of a new journey toward connection and understanding. As participants begin to speak their first words in Albanian, we stand beside them with the belief that this experience will bring not only knowledge, but also new connections that enrich each person’s daily life.
