Emergency Assistance

In Kosovo, JRS provides emergency assistance to ensure the dignity and wellbeing of refugees, asylum seekers, and repatriated persons who face sudden or critical needs.
While the context may not always involve large-scale humanitarian crises, the initial phases of displacement or return can still be marked by deep vulnerability, especially for individuals arriving with limited resources, unstable housing, or no access to basic services.
JRS Kosovo responds to urgent situations by offering short-term, life-sustaining support.
Special attention is given to women, children, and persons with specific needs, who are often at greater risk during transitions or displacement. In collaboration with local institutions and partners, JRS Kosovo ensures a rapid and coordinated response when families or individuals find themselves in sudden hardship, always guided by the principles of human dignity, protection, and compassion.
